OSRS Leagues 5 Raging Echoes Relics Guide: A Detailed Evaluation of Each Tier
Nov-29-2024 PSTThe release of Leagues 5: Raging Echoes has been nothing short of exciting, with new relics and their associated abilities stirring up a whirlwind of discussion among players. Now that we know the full list of relics and tiers, it’s time to break them down to help you make the best choices for your League experience. Let’s take a look at each relic tier and evaluate which relics shine in various scenarios.
Tier 1: Skilling Relics
Animal Wrangler
This relic buffs Hunter, Fishing, and Cooking, making it a handy tool. It banks all your fished food and guarantees a 100% cooking rate. With the ability to seamlessly solve three skills at once, it’s especially useful in regions like Kandarin, Tirannwn, or Wilderness. It’s also effective in Varlamore and Kourend if those are part of your region picks.
Power Miner
This relic is a game-changer for Smithing and Mining, solving these skills by automatically banking and smelting ores you mine. Additionally, it extends the depletion time of rocks, allowing for longer mining sessions. While fantastic for Asgarnia, Desert and Fremennik regions may not benefit as much, due to access to Blast Furnace and Granite Mining.
Lumberjack
Lumberjack boosts Woodcutting, Firemaking, and offers a slight bonus to Fletching. Although Woodcutting is already an AFK-friendly skill, it works well in regions like Kourend, where diverse tree types are available. Its effectiveness is further bolstered during the Wintertodt.
Tier 1 Rankings:
Animal Wrangler > Power Miner > Lumberjack
Tier 2: Skill Helper Relics
Corner Cutter
For those who dread Agility, this relic is a lifesaver. It doubles the rewards and experience from Agility laps, making this an ideal choice for anyone looking to breeze through Agility training.
Friendly Forager
This relic solves Herblore issues by ensuring you always have herbs and potions. It’s particularly valuable for regions like Wilderness, Desert, and Tirannwn, which lack easy access to herb patches.
Dodgy Deals
A versatile relic that provides solutions for Thieving, Agility, Smithing, Crafting, and even Clue-hunting. It’s incredibly useful in Kandarin, Tirannwn, and Morytania, and offers one of the best Agility training methods through Fossil Island underwater chests.
Tier 2 Rankings:
Dodgy Deals > Friendly Forager > Corner Cutter
Tier 3: Teleportation Relics
Fairy’s Flight
This relic unlocks teleports to herb patches, spirit trees, and fairy rings. It’s perfect for regions like Kandarin, where these teleportation methods are invaluable. Be cautious, though, as it’s less useful if you choose Overgrown.
Bank Heist
The Bank Heist relic provides teleportation to any bank or deposit box within your region. While this is a neutral relic with minimal unique benefits, it can be practical for Asgarnia, thanks to the Nex Bank teleport.
Clue Compass
This relic opens up teleportation to clue stash units and steps (excluding kills), making it extremely beneficial for clue hunters. It is a universal choice, making solving clues significantly easier no matter which region you select.
Tier 3 Rankings:
Clue Compass > Fairy’s Flight > Bank Heist
Tier 4: Utility Relics
Golden God
A highly valuable relic that solves Magic, Prayer, and OSRS gold issues by giving you access to infinite funds. It also allows you to use 20K for a Prayer experience at an altar. This relic is particularly useful in Varlamore and Fremennik, where access to gold is more difficult.
Reloaded
Reloaded allows you to select a relic from a lower tier, providing flexibility in your build. While it’s tempting to pick teleportation relics, it’s best to choose from skill helpers like Dodgy Deals or Friendly Forager.
Equilibrium
This relic gives you an experience boost equal to 10% of your total level (or 20% for your lowest skill). Ideal for competitive players or anyone aiming to max out as quickly as possible, this relic accelerates progress for any skill you work on.
Tier 4 Rankings:
Golden God = Reloaded = Equilibrium
Tier 5: Major Game-Changers
Treasure Arbiter
With this relic, you’ll always have minimum steps and maximum reward rolls in clues, while eliminating item requirements for certain clue steps. It’s perfect for anyone looking to speed up their clue-solving and maximize rewards. It’s particularly effective in Kandarin and Kourend.
Production Master
This relic allows you to craft all items in your inventory at once, providing full experience for all materials processed. It’s a great pick for regions like Fremennik and Wilderness, where you have easy access to a large number of resources.
Slayer Master
An absolute powerhouse for Slayer. This relic makes sure every Slayer creature is always on task and yields Slayer experience, and it grants unlimited blocks and skips. Morytania is the ideal region for this relic due to the abundance of Slayer content, though Kourend and Wilderness are also notable mentions.
Tier 5 Rankings:
Slayer Master >= Treasure Arbiter >= Production Master
Tier 6: Special Relics
Total Recall
This relic allows you to save your stats (including special attack energy) and teleport back to a saved location with all stats restored. Great for Wilderness and Asgarnia, especially if you’re using special attack weapons. However, it’s best suited for skilled players who can make the most of the saved stats.
Banker’s Note
A game-changer for inventory management, this relic lets you note and un-note items on the fly. It’s incredibly useful for resource-heavy content, making it a great pick for newer players who want to streamline their gameplay.
Tier 6 Rankings:
Banker’s Note > Total Recall
Tier 7: Elite Combat Boosts
Pocket Kingdom
A mini Kingdom of Miscellania is at your disposal with this relic. It grants you maximum approval and faster resource gathering. Perfect for addressing Herblore, Farming, and Cooking issues, this relic works well in regions with limited resources.
Grimoire
Unlocking all prayers and spellbooks, this relic is a major boon for meleers, mages, and rangers alike. It’s essential if you’re not choosing Desert or Kandarin regions, as it unlocks the Ancient Spellbook.
Overgrown
This relic passively boosts your Farming experience, making it an excellent choice for regions with lots of farming patches like Kandarin.
Tier 7 Rankings:
Grimoire > Pocket Kingdom > Overgrown
Tier 8: Combat Relics
Last Stand
When on the verge of death, this relic triggers a damage immunity period while providing a stat boost. Great for any build, it’s particularly potent with Dharoks, offering a safety net for high-risk content.
Guardian
This relic summons a thrall to boost your DPS. While it provides a slight DPS increase, it’s better suited for Gauntlet and similar content where accuracy is crucial.
Specialist
Boosting your special attack efficiency, this relic reduces the cost of special attacks and provides bonus accuracy. This relic shines in regions with powerful special attack weapons, especially Asgarnia and Wilderness.
Tier 8 Rankings:
Last Stand > Specialist > Guardian
